Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Referred by locals as the Eighth Wonder of the World, this ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance and attracts thousands of tourists annually. It is probably the most visited tourist destination in Sri Lanka.
This trip to Sigiriya includes:
- Climbing on an ancient rock fortress known for its massive column of rock that reaches nearly 200 meters high called Lion Rock.
- We will visit Golden Buddha Temple in Dambulla that’s easily spotted from afar because of the massive golden Buddha statue sitting on top of the building.
- If tourists will be interested we can do a village tour of the Sigiriya.
