On the way to the second largest city of Sri Lanka, Kandy, which is an important pilgrimage site, you will see these beautiful places:
- We will stop in Pinnawala, where more than 40 elephants live today including rare elephant twins, which you will be able to observe during their regular bathing in the river.
- This is followed by an excursion to the fragrant Ceylon black tea factory, where you will learn about the production of this world-famous and delicious drink, including a tasting.
- The temple which carries a lot of value to Buddhists all over the world called the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, will be our next stop.
- We will explore lovely Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya, about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka.
